Adrian Glasson

I specialise in designing, implementing, supporting, and securing high-quality IT systems. My commitment to continuous experimentation and personal upskilling keeps me at the forefront of technology.

My early expertise is rooted in Microsoft systems, services, and related infrastructure. Beyond my listed employment history, I’ve also supported infrastructure, networking, and PaaS systems in AWS.

I’m a friendly, approachable individual with a good sense of humour and thrive in a team of like-minded people. I have a passion for new technology, learning new things, efficient processes, and highly available systems.

Interests

As an avid technology user I am forever experimenting with new technologies, trying out new hardware, following all the news in the tech industry. Be it hyper-v or docker in my home lab, writing a PowerShell module for the community or building a website such as this one; I'm always doing something new. The occasional dabbling in home automation. Future and renewable energy and battery technologies also keep me keenly interested. A more recent hobby of mine, 3D Printing.

Beyond technology I enjoy the outdoors when I can make the time for it. Camping or 4WDing to keep visiting and exploring the amazing places in this country. Ever so slowly I am working my way towards my private pilots license as my time and money permits to explore even more and do it in a way that is spectacular, challenging and exciting at the same time.
